Writer's Block: Wild Rumpus

  • Nov. 15th, 2008 at 1:47 AM

A lot of characters in kids' books have it pretty good, from calling the start of the wild rumpus to ordering room service from their hotel suite. If you could be any character from children's literature, who would you be?

I would totally be Harold from the book "Harold and the Purple Crayon".

Then I could draw the world how I want it too be... and it would have to be so.

Or I would be Christopher Robin in the Winnie the Pooh books... to live in a world of innocence and love and trust.  No worries.

"How old do you think you will be when you die Christopher Robin?"

"I don't know Pooh, perhaps about 100."

"Then when you die at 100 I shall die at 99 so I never have to live without you..."
