So today was
aceface905 and I's 5th anniversary. 5 years ago, around this time, I got on a bus and met the man who is going to be my husband. How did we commemorate this occasion? By hopping on the Barboursville bus and heading to the Huntington Mall.
A) If you change the bus schedule, TTA, then please print new brochures so that when people plan their days around your scheduled times they don't get screwed over when you are not on schedule.
B) If you are a bus driver and we stop at Wal-Mart, please do not leave the bus, shut the door and proceed to go shopping inside the wal-mart... this delays us and makes us ANGRY.
C) Why is the bus so expensive?
So, after pissing me off, I realize that I hate the bus. Tradition or no, next year, instead of riding a damn bus, I think we'll just have a ceremony where I get in a dress and Lenny wears a tux. Hopefully that is more tolerable.
But hey, I got to go to the mall and watch people buy things... because I am broke, poor and behind on all my bills, so of course I couldn't get anything.
Poverty happens... to me.
*sigh*
On a high note, I got to spend a shit load of time with Lenny... and tomorrow he is off. Tomorrow night we may even get to sneak into Unknown Hinson with Carrie. That would rule.
In other news, saw ZZ Top and ate at Taste of Asia with Lenny and with our double date couple Carrie and Dave. Besides being my photo pal and best buddy, Carrie is so talented. I loved working with her on the last Advance project. Her eye for composition and her ability to work with Photoshop puts me to shame. I know we both have our own strengths, but she can shot me in circles with that camera of hers. And her film group makes some kick ass movies. Hope everyone saw Johnny Boy... it was pretty sweet.
I'm glad I have a good friend that I can talk my photo geekery with and trust. Carrie, Cassie and I have turned into our own little Photo Musketeer trio. With them helping to critique my work, I seriously believe that I'm improving. I've been taking risks and producing work I never thought capable.
More on that later.
For now, here's a photo of my Godson, his father and I from where they were here earlier to visit "Aunt" Casey.
