Today, ladies and gents, is July 17th. My due date... well, it's August 17th.
HOLY SHIT.
Just thought I'd put that out there for ya'll.
Note to all:
Please do not expect me or my baby daddy to be available for ANYTHING until September. From now until September... our lives are consistant of Baby, baby, and... more baby. As of right now, I have a crib to finish putting together, crap to get rid of to make room for said baby, a nursery to arrange/organize/ make livable and a house to clean. On top of all that, I also have SHIT TON of baby clothing, baby bedding, blankies, etc... to wash and have put away BEFORE his imminent arrival.
This is going to be one hectic month. Sorry in advance guys if I miss any birthdays, weddings, births, or special occasions... we are just a bit tied up here. :P
After he is here, my momma is coming to stay a week with us. THANK YOU GOD. I am looking forwards to my family visiting, seeing my little guy and adjusting to actual mommyhood. The rest of August will be spent... well, recovering from giving birth. Trust me, as I clearly remember from the first time I gave birth.. .IT SUCKED AND HURT A WHOLE WHOLE LOT. So please, no advice or words of wisdom... I got it.
August, like I said, particularly the first few weeks of the month, are going to be a major adjustment for Len and I. We love you guys, really we do, but we are going to really need some time alone to learn how to be a mom and dad. I do need friend time... but give me a few weeks... so I am not nuts, crazy or abusive towards anyone. :)
Much love... I will probably not update until after he appears... so keep us in your thoughts, prayers... etc... whatever you will.
Love love and more love.

Well, what new has been going on around here? Don't know if I mentioned it... probably not, but here we goes.
Saturday-- KHS Class of 2003 5 year reunion. Honestly, who has a 5 year reunion? You are still in school or have just graduated college with the same people you went to HS with... who cares what they are into now? I only went to see my two best friends at the same place at the same time. A nice bonus though, an ex boyfriend from 8 or so years ago was there... We are still good friends, I have missed him a lot over the years, and it was nice to see what he was up to since he had moved to Martinsburg. My friends and I hung out, good times were had. Other than a few marriages, divorces, and pregnancies, everyone at the reunion was exactly the same. They still separated into their little cliques and ignored everyone else. *sigh* Why did I go again? For Mo and Maria. That was it. And I got to drag Lenny with me.
Sunday--Len and I left for home (Huntington). Us, with Dog in tow, were traveling along 79 when all of a sudden we were rear-ended by a '04-'08ish model Toyota Corolla. Silver. We slid towards the median, the silver corolla went over the median, barrel rolled over into the Northbound lane and landed upside down in opposing traffic. Miraculously, that car wasn't hit by oncoming traffic. Us, however, we spun around, Lenny corrected the car, and we stopped at the shoulder in the correct lane. BUT, as we were hit, I was sitting sideways, talking to Lenny and checking on the dog. Car hit us, I flung forward and around, twisting my back, whiplashing my neck and therefore hurting myself. Dog slammed into the back of Lenny's seat, but jumped up front to cower and hide at his feet. Lenny was ok. I was in pain.
Now, the funny thing was, the car that overturned, the two people inside of it crawled out and proceeded to collect their luggage from the interstate where it had popped out and landed. They were fine, no injuries. THEY WERE UPSIDE DOWN. No one had realized we were hit, A-because we were in the opposite lane of traffic, and B--because when they hit us, they took off Lenny's rear left tail light that was messed up anyway. THAT WAS IT. Our car didn't look damaged. Shaken up, we sat there and waited... as everyone helped out the upside down car. Good, I didn't want them hurt... but I was in a lot of pain.
Finally, after some honking and yelling that they had hit us, a firefighter came over and an ambulance took me away on a back board.
So... in the end, after numerous X-Rays and blood work, I was whiplashed, stoved up and I may have nerve damage in my back. My back HURTS like a M(*&er FU*&^%. I am in PAIN. And what did I get? I got a Flexerill in the hospital, two shots in my ass and a script for Alieve and a muscle relaxor. I have to go for a check up , but my back STILL hurts.
FUCK.
I hate people sometimes.
People who can't drive... or who drive too fast. Pay attention damnit.
I wish I was a cop sometimes...
I'd have soooo much fun as a highway patrol-person.
FUCK.
